Tournament Spring 2011 by the Dominican Association of Players Ultimate (contracting) was held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March in the town of Sierra Prieta Polo Club. Weather conditions on both days showed strong gusts of wind which hampered the movement of the plate on many occasions.
Our team currently consists of players from different levels in terms of experience in the game. For various reasons we could not count on the presence tournament representative and leading players in both our offensive and defensive.
Given the situation that was the team, the captains took the objective that the tournament would serve as a real workout for beginners on the challenges and scenarios presented in a tournament where the only thing that motivates players is the hunger and the spirit of play by the Ultimate.
Day # 1 Saturday March 19

The day starts with a great gift from Captain Patrick Carpenter .... The new jerseys for the team , factor in the unification of the oldest rookies.
The first game is against our neighbors to practice the "Flying Monkeys." the odds and games played by our team competing in the tournament. Newcomers Yayo, Hector Rodolfo Santiago and highlighted by the smooth movement of the plate and good cuts which facilitated the realization of points against this excellent team. The "Flying Monkeys" characterized by rookies with optimum health and good shooters gave battle to the finish thus ensuring their victory 8 to 7 above the Monkeys.
closed the game with the traditional round between the two teams and raise our spirits game with a Monkey - YEEP YEEP!
The day continued and we play against Bushido D (Defense). The game was completely dominated by the opposing team, some players of our team and had injuries which hampered our moves. At the end of the game could not well organized and the game ended Bushido 9 to 0 above the Bushes.

The 1st game of the day Bukapie Bushido vs the end we could not with the game well organized Bushido and the game finished 9-0
up Bush.
Bukapie The 2nd game vs. BOOM!. A game with great spirit and mobility of the dish, the team conducted opponent plays good considering that most of its members were rookies.

The 3rd game considered "game day" Bukapie vs Lightning, a team confident of an easy win vs. a team with young players motivated just wanting to give everything in the field made the difference. The smooth movement of the plate for Orlando, Tabaré Manuel and Patricio cuts, Hector, James and Emmanuel managed the team spent the first half with a score of 5 to 1 on the Lightning.
The typical feature of our brothers the Lightning to trace and focus on tight moments came in the second half of the game where he scored 3 points in a row. That day our captain had ordered that game was not one to lose, so our players are not discouraged and we achieved our victory 9 to 7 above Bukapie.
Our 4th and 5th game of the day was Bukapie vs DNA, as usual, a game with great spirit and competitiveness . For many reasons such as injury, eating disorders, among others affect the performance of our team was given the victory of both sets of DNA.
